We had a very enjoyable stay that met standard, would like to stay there on the next trip. Thoroughly enjoyed Sydney, the hotel was lovely old close to transport which is a great advantage. Our room was well-organised and complete with a fairly clean bathroom.

Check-in was a bit of a mess and took longer than expected. Plus, the building could really use some maintenance; I noticed loose taps in the bathroom, and the creaks from the old structure were a little distracting.

I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access, which allowed me to stay connected during my trip. After a day of exploring, I enjoyed a refreshing drink at one of the 2 bars/lounges; the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly. Having a private bathroom was a major plus, and the fresh air from my top-floor window was good.
